So, why the hell are we always shouting about Community?
Once upon a time in the dance community (and it still is like this in some places), you could only support one group/social/team. And the way we see it, that sucks.
We always thought that we would be SWITZERLAND. Meaning that we support everyone as best as we can. To that end, we also feel as people that support the scene that it’s equally as important that EVERYONE (especially promoters/directors/performers/DJ’s) support other events (when they have the time). The ecosystem should be a positive one and one that shows unity.
There are pros and cons to this.
Example. It’s easy for someone to say “well, if they support everyone, that means they’re not ‘loyal’ to anyone.”
With the rapidly growing success of our scene as shown in the addition of so many new events popping up, we think it’s important that we do our best to pick something and support it when we can. We also believe that location really shouldn’t matter. If you can get to the place to support, get to the place. If you can’t, that’s ok too. Life happens. Some people have families, or work or whatever they’re going through at that time.
Regardless, we will continue that purpose because the one thing we have shown is that we are loyal to everyone. That it is possible to genuinely smile and be friendly and (as promoters ourselves) understand the difficulty of building your own in such a huge scene.
CURRENT COMMUNITY EVENTS
¡ENCENDIO!

On March 21st, we stand alongside other organizations to help families that were affected by their loved ones being taken by ICE. Please note that this is NOT a protest. This is a show of support to help the ones that are struggling financially or with food as a result of it. We are very happy to have several organizations helping us out (a lot of them not named yet) as well as the people of the Rising Star Studio and team Echale spearheading it.
