So, a little about me. I’m pretty passionate about this dance scene in the DMV. I guess, the more time you spend in something, the more you soak it in. It’s culture, it’s people and it’s purpose. I call myself the wild card because I want to be whatever the scene needs me to be. Want an MC? I can do it. Need someone to help promote? I can do that too. Need someone to provide content for your event? Yup. Dat’s me. If you need a DJ in a pinch? I got you.
Man.
What I didn’t expect is what has been such the drastic shift. I’ve been through so much this past year. Some of it good…some of it bad. But at the end of the day, I’m still what my community needs me to be. Sheila and I have accomplished so much. And even though we know that all we can do is keep going, the future is looking pretty bright. I’m so proud of what we have become.
To the people – more the people that always come when I’m spinning. THANK. YOU. I truly believe that you all are the best audience I can possibly have. Thanks for being so patient with me. For being around during my growing pains. And now being around at a time where I am being noticed. That is because of you.
